The Team : Paul Knowles Role: Paul is responsible for commercial developments on sites and for many major clients in the area. He is involved on a day-to-day basis performing all the duties associated with a Project. Professional Qualification: Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors Property Experience: 25 years. Based: Salhouse near Norwich Relevant information: Paul has worked on a number of large development projects, including RAF Alconbury (6.5 million sq ft rail/road distribution park), Norwich Research Park (feasibility and master planning), the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital redevelopment (feasibility and development advice), Laurence Scott and Electromotors site for FKI plc (redevelopment, planning and disposal), Smurfit plc (redevelopment and planning), J and H Bunn Ltd (strategic development advice), Taylor Woodrow and the Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association (strategic development opportunities). He specialises in providing strategic property, development and consultancy to the market. His strengths, through hands-on experience range from site assembly, feasibility studies, planning issues, development and funding options and marketing. Over the last 25 years he has developed a wide experience of commercial occupiers, development and planning work, whilst at Bidwells, the District Valuers Office, Debenham Tewson Chinnocks and Fenn Wright Spurlings. At both Fenn Wright Spurlings and Bidwells, he established and managed the Commercial Development teams with much success. Paul has undertaken extremely successful commissions for organisations such as the University of East Anglia, Smurfit Plc, FKI Plc, Reckitt & Colman Plc, the John Innes Foundation, Norwich School, Ministry of Defence, Anglian Water and BAA Lynton.
